What materials does CraftCut support?

How does the cut list optimizer work?

CraftCut's optimizer analyzes all the panels in your design and figures out the most efficient way to cut them from standard sheet sizes. It uses bin-packing algorithms to minimize waste, accounting for saw blade kerf width and grain direction when needed.

Does CraftCut work offline?

Yes. CraftCut is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works offline once loaded. You can install it to your device's home screen and use it without an internet connection.

Absolutely. CraftCut is a client-side application. Your furniture designs, project data, and settings are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. No data is ever sent to any server. We have no ability to access, view, or recover your designs.

Can I export my cut lists and assembly guides?

Yes. CraftCut lets you export optimized cut lists and full assembly booklets as PDF documents. These include labeled dimensions, cutting diagrams, panel references, and step-by-step assembly instructions — ready to take to the workshop.
